Workshop #1: Alcohol Ink Collage Painting with Barbara Buford (1-2:15 pm)
Alcohol ink is a dye-based permanent ink that is activated by using rubbing alcohol on a nonporous paper. The colors are bright and give the illusion of stained glass. The objective of this class is to create an abstract painting that will be cut into pieces and used to create a collage. No drawing or art experience is needed. Please wear old clothes or bring a smock/apron as the inks will stain. We have a few aprons and plenty of disposable gloves to protect your hands.

Workshop #2: Zentangle® Inspired Art with Keith Warren (2:45-4:00pm)
The Zentangle drawing method is free-flowing, spontaneous drawing using structured patterns to create beautiful images. ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) is art based on the Zentangle drawing method. We will be drawing basic shapes, creating structured patterns, and adding watercolor paints in creating your art. You will experience a sense of accomplishment with what you have created and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing and painting. Take home an original painting, matted and ready for framing. Come laugh, learn, create, and paint.
